Ceremony marks the start of works

Bude - Site Amenity and Waste Transfer Station

This project involved demolition of an existing facility and provision of a split level facilty for household waste recycling. A reinforced concrete retaining wall provided the 2.05m level differential required. The design included provision for new drainage and other services. The sloping nature of the site meant concrete and reinforced earth retaining walls were required at the perimeter. The contract period was 22 weeks.

Pool Materials Recycling Facility

Construction of an extension to the existing materials recycling building. Contract period 29 weeks.

Bodmin Materials Recycling Facility

Erection of new internal and external storage facilities, visitors' car parking and modification to existing staff parking and new coach layby and drop-off point. Contract period 21 weeks.

Connon Bridge Refuse Transfer Station

Construction of a steel framed building to house a refuse transfer station and external works to provide a household waste recycling centre. Contract period 17 weeks.

St Erth Household Waste Recycling Centre and Refuse Transfer Station

Construction of a steel framed building to house a refuse transfer station incorporating split level external works to provide a household waste recycling centre. The building has a ramped area for loading of waste and concrete floor. Contract period 36 weeks.
