Westhampnett Waste Recycling Site
A new waste recycling site and waste transfer station, incorporating a weighbridge and new road infrastructure. The facility is able to take both commercial and private waste.
The project team delighted the client by achieving its preferred opening date when all waste from the surrounding waste recycling centres was transferred to this new facility. The project was completed to budget.
The contract included the construction of a new steel framed building 40m x 4m, clad in steel with reinforced concrete floors. The new material control centre was of traditional brick construction.
External works included a new weighbridge, road junction to the existing main road, landscaping and paving works.
